What is 'Read It Once Again'?
"Read It Once Again" is a supplemental curriculum that we use in the Integrated Preschool classrooms. It not only promotes a foundation in literacy, but also includes lessons for the following different domains, that all relate to the Unit/Book:
Speech/Language, Cognitive, Gross Motor, Fine Motor, Daily Living Skills, and Socialization.
Please be aware that papers that may come home with your child may seem too 'easy' or 'hard'-- but know that I am striving to differentiate the instructional material. For your specific child, we may not necessarily be focusing on the information the paper is covering, but could be working on increasing attention span for a given task, identifying/labeling/naming colors that are being used, working on a 'good grip' with a crayon/pencil, socializing/turn-taking with peers and materials, etc.
